Passive equipment for FTTx networks

The right passive equipment is crucial in the construction of modern fibre-optic networks. For improved, flexible, cost saving and easy-to-install solutions it is essential to select quality passive components. With our knowledge and years of experience, our team of experts helps you connect POP to the subscriber and provide the service they expect.

Tubes

Tubes for network construction are used throughout the network area: from backbone all the way to the FTTH. We offered Multi Tube Cables (MTC) and ducts for telecommunication from the German manufacturer Egeplast which offer consists of a full range of ducts, mini tubes, micro tubes, multi-tube cables, tube connectors and accessories.

  • Micro and mini tubes
  • Multi tube cables as a bundle of micro or mini tubes for direct installation into the ground
  • High quality tube connectors for tubes, end connectors, end cups, sealing element

Closures for optical cables

Fibre-optic closures are designed to offer a flexible solution for splicing and branching off fibre-optic cables in all environments. The ACE closure portfolio is based on a long-term experience, knowledge and close cooperation with the customer.

  • Fibre closures are available in a wide range of configurations and offer high splice capacity
  • Complies with most types and constructions of cables
  • Easy to install (time saving)
  • Suitable for underground or aerial applications

Racks

In the FTTx network rack systems are part of the POP which is the most challenging part of the network. Rack systems are made for housing passive and active components in fibre distribution applications. It is essential to exclude all possible risks during installation and operation.

  • Different dimensions and maximum flexibility
  • Solid solution for termination and management of fibre-optic cables and patch cords
  • Standard 47 HU space can be mounted at different depths inside the rack
  • Space for optical distribution shelves, patch panel shelves, splitters and other 19” components

Street cabinets

Street cabinets comprise a flexible solution for FTTx networks. Available are passive and active cabinets. Passive cabinets can be used for splicing, patching and dividing fibres (cables) by the use of splitters. Active cabinets are used for mounting equipment and to connect the outputs to the fibre-optic cables. The outer shell of the cabinet can be made of different kinds of materials. The choice of material depends on the environment and your preferences.

  • Optimal protection against external influences
  • The inner construction is designed for an easy and fast installation
  • Minimum installation time
  • Attractive modular design

Patch panels

Our portfolio comprises optical patch panels and other optical requirements which are used for a visible and reliable management of optical connections in the telecommunication racks. Optical patch panels differ in terms of capacity, type of adapters, installation depth, and in the physical principle - shape (fixed, extractable, and extractable from the side). We can also deliver custom-made optical patch panels customised to your needs.

  • ACE SCS (Super Cassette Shelf) 19” patch panel with aluminium housing
  • Left or right rotating trays
  • 96 patch positions in 1 height unit
  • SC or LC connector types
  • Spacious trays ready to splice coloured pigtails

Pigtails, patch cords and adapters

We offer a wide range of pigtails, patch cords and adapters to fulfil all connectivity demands. Besides the standard products, we can also provide custom designed solutions. Deliveries are secure with full-chain quality control from manufacturing via assembling up to final installation.

  • Different lengths of cable and types of connectors
  • SM (single mode) and MM (multimode) type of fibre–optic cable
  • Different colours for easier handling of high density optical cables

Customise pre-connected cable with termination box

Connecting end users to the fiber optic network is one of the most difficult part in building a network. The fastest, easiest and most efficient system is the use of factory-made solutions. We offer a wide range of customize pre-connected cables for fast, non- splicing installation, as well as pre-connected cables with a large selection of optical telecommunication (OTO) sockets.

  • Integrated solution for mounting telecommunication socket at the end-user
  • Not necessary splicing at the end user
  • Installers do not need special skills and equipment
  • Optical installation cable is wrapped in a handy cardboard box - easy to unwind
  • Optical telecommunication socket or termination box we choose the according to your wishes and needs
  • Various types of fiber optic cables with small diameter, low weight, high tensile strength and excellent flexural properties

Termination boxes

Termination Boxes are the last point in a network. They offer mechanical protection to splices and fixation points for adapters and connectors. Termination boxes are available in several sizes and configurations. Typical small boxes are used at end-user premises, medium boxes are used on floor level and large boxes are commonly used in basements.

  • Mechanical protection for cables, fibres, splices and splitters
  • Including splice tray covers, appropriate cable entries and various accessories
  • Different splice capacity
  • Easy installation and efficient cable management
